The Column Series Classic Cylinder base takes a different approach, its robust single column design supports tops up to 72” in diameter with a single base. First introduced in the 1996-97 Price List, our Cylinder base continues to be a practical solution for today’s conference and gathering spaces while maintaining a clean, modern look.

The Cylinder base is designed to handle a range of table sizes while maintaining a balanced, streamlined look. It is available in three diameters, each matched to specific top sizes:
- 18” base supports tops up to 36”
- 24” base supports tops up to 54”
- 28” base supports tops up to 72”
By supporting each size with a single base, the design reduces visual clutter and opens up more usable space beneath the table. This approach also simplifies installation compared to multi-base configurations.
Constructed from 14-gauge steel, the Cylinder base delivers long-term durability without sacrificing appearance. It delivers outstanding load-bearing performance in demanding environments while maintaining a refined, consistent look across applications.
Built-In Wire Management for Clean Workspaces
To support modern workspace needs, the Cylinder base includes integrated wire management options that help keep cords organized and out of sight.
An optional wire management door, introduced in 2007, is available on the 18” and 24” models. This bolt-on access panel measures 19” long by 6 5/8” wide, with widths up to 8 5/8” on the 24” version. It allows users to access internal wiring without disturbing the overall setup.
In addition, 3” diameter wire access holes provide a convenient way to route cables quickly. These openings can be used on their own or alongside the access door, offering flexibility when managing power and data connections.
