We see it every summer… the orders pick up, the production floor gets busier, and a group of students walks through the door ready for some seasonal work. But often, the faces of those students aren’t new at all. Many are returning for another summer, and in some cases, more than that.
Every Summer, Every Year
While the number of summer students we bring on each year can vary — 20 in 2024, 17 in 2025 — their impact on our operation stays consistent. They help us meet demand, support our teams through our busiest stretch, and help to hit our production goals.
More Than Just Summer Help

Our summer students become genuine contributors to our facility.
They work alongside our full-time team on the paint lines, in assembly, and in office support roles, learning about manufacturing processes, and gaining people skills, all while supporting an active part of our table base manufacturing facility.
The Value of an Experienced Face

During our busiest season, having high school and college students returning for another summer who already understand how we operate helps keep quality high and operations on track.
These returning students naturally take on an informal mentorship role for newer hires. They help set a positive example and contribute to a cohesive and efficient work environment.
More importantly, students leave at the end of the summer with something they can carry forward: an understanding of how a real business operates, skills built through hands-on experience, and connections with a team that was invested in their success.
Supporting More Than Production
The growth of our summer student program keeps our operations moving during our busiest season, while also strengthening our connection to the community around us. By giving students real, hands-on experience in manufacturing, we’re not just filling seasonal roles, we’re helping build familiarity, confidence, and interest in an industry full of opportunity. And for many, it’s an experience worth coming back to.
